Why buy a Rolex here
Questions, answered
How much does a Rolex watch cost?
Rolex watches here are listed from $5,460 to $202,680. Most sit between $15,100 and $30,200, with a middle price of $19,750. Special orders are quoted at the current market before you pay.
Are your Rolex watches authentic?
Every watch on our desk is checked on our own bench before it lists, and comes with a MyLuxApp-certified written appraisal. If a watch turns out not to be authentic, we refund it in full. Special orders are sourced through our dealer-direct trade network.
Do Rolex watches come with box and papers?
Every listing shows its year and exactly what comes with the watch: Full set, Papers only, Box only or Watch only. Right now 37 of our 37 in-stock Rolex watches are full sets. Where we have not recorded something we say nothing instead of guessing.
What is a special-order Rolex?
A watch that is not on our desk yet. You get a quote first and nothing is charged until you agree. After payment it is sourced and delivered in 7 to 10 business days. Special orders are final sale unless the watch arrives defective or not as described.
Are your Rolex watches new, unworn or pre-owned?
All three. Each card shows its condition: Unworn, Like new or Pre-owned for pieces on our desk (12 unworn right now), and New for special orders.
How does shipping and insurance work?
Orders of $1,000 and up ship free, insured, overnight, with an adult signature. Smaller orders ship on a flat rate. You can also pick up by appointment at our downtown Los Angeles showroom.
What warranty and returns do you offer?
Every watch carries our 2-year store warranty on the movement. You have 7 days from delivery to start a return on in-stock pieces, as long as the watch is unworn and complete. Special orders are final sale unless defective or not as described.
How can I pay for my Rolex?
By card (a 3.5% processing fee applies, so the wire price is lower), by bank wire, or with crypto by arrangement. Affirm and Klarna are offered at checkout on eligible orders.
Can I sell or trade my Rolex watch?
Yes. Tell us the model and your asking price, add a few photos, and a dealer replies with a firm offer, usually the same business day. We pay the same day once the watch is approved. Start on our Rolex selling page. Sell yours ›

Demand has outrun supply on these for years, and that's the whole story for a buyer. Wilsdorf founded Rolex in 1905, and the Geneva house earned its standing on waterproofing, automatics, and date displays. Precision and durability made the name; the market made it an asset class. Steel sports references sell over retail every day, so dealer-direct pricing and a wire payment keep your fair trade-level number where it belongs.
Buyer’s note. Demand consistently exceeds supply; steel sports references — Submariner, GMT-Master II, Daytona — routinely trade above retail on the secondary market.
Buying a Rolex in Los Angeles
In-stock Rolex pieces are held at our store at 650 S. Hill St., Suite 317, in the middle of the downtown Los Angeles jewelry district — not in someone else’s showcase. We own the in-stock pieces we list, which is why the number on the page starts from a trade number rather than a retail one. References marked “Special order” are not in stock and are sourced for you after you order.
Every listing carries two figures: the card price, which is the price shown, and the wire price, which leaves out the 3.5% card-processing fee. If you are local you are welcome to come and see the piece on the bench before you buy — call the desk first and it will be out and ready. If you are not, it goes out overnight and fully insured.
