What shapes your offer
Which collection
Reverso, Master Control, Master Ultra Thin, Master Calendar, Polaris and Geophysic have different buyers.
Reverso flip and case sides
The Reverso case swivels in its frame, so the sides, the rail and the latch take the wear.
The back of a Reverso
Many Reversos carry an engraving on the reverse, such as initials.
Case metal and size
Steel, pink gold and two-tone cases are valued differently, and the Reverso comes in several sizes.
Before you send it
- Photograph the dial, the caseback, the reference starting with Q, and every edge of the case.
- Work the flip on a Reverso and describe honestly how it feels.
- Do not polish the case, replace the strap or service the watch before sending.
- Gather the box, papers and service receipts, and photograph any engraving.
- Say clearly if the strap or buckle is not original.
Your full offer becomes credit toward any watch we sell.
How trade-in worksQuestions
Which Jaeger-LeCoultre watches do you buy?
We make offers on Jaeger-LeCoultre watches valued at $2,000 or more across Reverso, Master, Polaris, Geophysic and Duomètre collections.
Does engraving on a Reverso hurt the offer?
It is noted, along with the rest of the condition. Tell us about it up front and photograph it. It does not stop us from making an offer.
Do you buy ladies' Reversos?
Yes, when the watch is valued at $2,000 or more. Send the size, the metal and whether it is set with stones from the factory.
Do I need the box and papers?
No. They support the offer, and without them the watch is judged on its own. Tell us what you have.
How is the offer decided from photos?
A dealer reviews the collection, reference, condition, papers and your asking price, and replies with an offer, usually the same business day. It is indicative until the watch is inspected.
Can I choose trade credit?
Yes. After inspection, apply the full agreed value toward any watch we sell, or take cash. The desk confirms payment details with you.
How do I send the watch?
Use a prepaid insured label, or bring it to the downtown Los Angeles desk by appointment, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm Pacific.
Am I obliged to accept?
No. Asking for an offer carries no obligation.
Downtown Los Angeles, by appointment. Mon–Fri 10am–6pm Pacific.
