Terms of Service

Last updated July 22, 2026. This page sets the terms on which My Watch Dealer sells to you through mywatchdealer.com. Placing an order, or using the site at all, means these terms apply to the deal.

The parties to the deal

You are dealing with My Watch Dealer, a Los Angeles dealer in pre-owned and unworn luxury watches, straps and accessories, trading from the address printed at the bottom of this page. We buy inventory, we own it, and we sell it to you directly. No consignor, broker or marketplace sits between us, and your payment goes to us and to nobody else.

Trade status and brand independence

We trade independently. No manufacturer has appointed, authorized, sponsored or endorsed My Watch Dealer — not Rolex, not Patek Philippe, not Audemars Piguet, not Cartier, not Panerai, and not any other maker named on this site. Manufacturer names, collection names and reference numbers appear here for one purpose: to tell you accurately which watch is for sale. Trademarks and manufacturer imagery rights belong to their owners, not to us.

Stock, pricing and the wire number

Stock moves fast at dealer level and prices move with the market, so both the price and the availability shown on a listing may change before your order is accepted. Treat a listing as an invitation to transact, not as a contractual offer we are locked into. When a listing carries two numbers, the lower one is the bank-wire number and the higher one absorbs card processing — usually about 3.5%. We may correct an error, cap quantities, or turn down or unwind an order after it is placed; if we do that on an order you have paid, you get the whole amount back.

Order acceptance and cleared funds

We take bank wires and major payment methods, with card transactions run through Stripe and any further methods shown to you at checkout. High-value orders may be held for identity and billing checks, or restricted to shipment at the billing address, before we release the watch. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. Title stays with us until your payment has cleared in full — an authorization is not a cleared payment.

Authentication and coverage

Nothing ships until our specialists have inspected it and confirmed it is what we say it is. Unless a listing states otherwise, the watch is pre-owned or unworn, and any servicing or warranty behind it is ours rather than the manufacturer’s; a manufacturer warranty may not have survived, and we do not guarantee that it did. Condition, box and papers are set out listing by listing, and we would rather answer a question before the sale than after it.

Freight, insurance and returns

Orders of $1,000 and up ship free. All freight is fully insured and signature-required — see Shipping & Delivery. Our Returns & Exchanges terms are incorporated here by reference: put simply, an unworn watch in original condition, approved for return and received back within seven days of delivery, is refunded to the original payment method, and we will do an exchange instead if that suits you better.

Buying your watch, and trade-ins

We buy as well as sell. Any offer we make on a description alone is indicative only and firms up once the piece is physically inspected and authenticated at our bench. Trade-in credit is posted at checkout as a post-tax payment line, never as a pre-tax discount. When you sell or trade to us, you warrant that the watch is yours to sell, that no lien or outstanding finance sits against it, and that you have described it truthfully.

Site conduct

You must not submit false details, misuse the site, infringe the rights of others through it, or attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to our systems. Material on this site is published for your personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers and cap on liability

The site is supplied on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties beyond those expressly given here, and our aggregate liability on any transaction is limited to the sum you paid for the watch concerned. Liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited are not limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Law and jurisdiction

The laws of the State of California govern these terms, without reference to conflict-of-law principles. The state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California hold exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute between us, save where applicable law directs otherwise.

Amendments and contact

We revise these terms periodically; the “last updated” date shows which version is live, and carrying on using the site amounts to acceptance of the current one. Reach the desk at [email protected] or on (213) 373-4424.
