What shapes your offer
Does it reach our floor
We buy Breitling valued at $2,000 or more.
Model and reference
Navitimer, Chronomat, Superocean, Avenger, Windrider and Bentley-linked watches are different lines with different buyers.
Case material
Steel, red gold, two-tone and the brand's lightweight Breitlight material all appear in the range.
Chronograph function and bezel
The pushers should click cleanly, the sub-dials should reset together, and a rotating bezel should turn without play.
Before you send it
- Photograph the dial, the full reference, the caseback and the clasp, in daylight.
- Test the pushers, the crown and the bezel, and tell us honestly how they feel.
- Do not polish the case, replace links or have the watch serviced before sending.
- Gather the box, papers, spare links, the strap or bracelet and any service receipts.
- Write down the reference exactly as it appears, including the part after the slash.
Your full offer becomes credit toward any watch we sell.
How trade-in worksQuestions
Do you buy every Breitling?
We buy Breitling valued at $2,000 or more. Whether yours reaches that depends on the model, material and condition. Send the details and the desk will say plainly if it does not.
Which Breitling lines do you buy?
Navitimer, Chronomat, Superocean and Superocean Heritage, Avenger, Windrider, Transocean and Bentley-linked watches, when they are valued at $2,000 or more.
Do I need the box and papers?
No. They support the offer, and without them the offer reflects what is missing. Tell us what you have when you write.
Does a missing link or non-original strap matter?
Yes, it is noted. Please say so up front. An honest description keeps the offer from changing at inspection.
How do you decide the offer from photos?
A dealer reviews the model, reference, condition, papers and your asking price, and replies with an offer, usually the same business day. It is indicative until the watch is inspected.
Can I take trade credit?
Yes. After inspection, apply the full agreed value toward any watch we sell, or take cash. The desk confirms payment details with you.
How do I send it?
Use a prepaid insured label, or bring it to the downtown Los Angeles desk by appointment, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm Pacific.
Am I obliged to accept?
No. Asking for an offer carries no obligation.
Downtown Los Angeles, by appointment. Mon–Fri 10am–6pm Pacific.
