When you reach out for a quote on a Submariner or book a private viewing of a vintage Daytona, a small amount of personal information moves between you and our team. This page walks through exactly what we collect, why we need it, and how long it sticks around, so there are no surprises after you hit send.
A quote request typically asks for a name, an email or phone number, and the reference you are curious about. That is the minimum we need to come back to you with a real number rather than a generic range. If you upload photos of a piece you are considering trading in, those images sit in the same secure inbox as your message and are reviewed only by the appraisal team. Nothing gets forwarded to third-party marketing lists, and nothing is sold.
Scheduling a viewing involves slightly more detail because we coordinate logistics. We may ask for a preferred time window, a general location if you are requesting a meeting outside our office, and occasionally a form of identification at the appointment itself. The ID check happens in person; we do not retain scans or copies once your visit concludes. Calendar entries are kept on internal systems only, accessible to the staff handling your appointment.
Quote conversations are retained for up to 24 months so we can reference past discussions if you return to finalize a deal or ask follow-up questions about a specific reference. After that window, the thread is archived and eventually purged. Viewing appointment records follow a shorter cycle, generally 12 months, unless a transaction completed, in which case standard recordkeeping requirements apply.
You can opt out of any marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails, and you can request a full export or deletion of your personal data by writing to our privacy contact. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain certain records, such as proof-of-purchase documentation tied to a completed sale. If that exception applies to your file, we will tell you which records are held and why.
