Most sports Rolexes run 40mm and up, which means they cantilever off a narrower wrist and never quite settle. This one doesn't. The 68623 is a 35mm case, and on a wrist under about 6.5 inches it sits where a watch should — lugs on the bone, not hanging past it.
The two-tone helps here. Steel keeps the case from looking heavy, and the yellow gold bezel and center links pull the eye inward, so a smaller case still has presence without shouting. The white dial is plain and legible, no clutter to crowd a 35mm face.
On the Oyster bracelet it wears close and flat under a cuff, so it dresses up under a sport coat and dresses down with a rolled sleeve just as easily. The gold gives it enough warmth for evening; the steel keeps it honest for daily wear.
