At 36mm with a smooth bezel and no crown guards to bulk out the flanks, this Datejust sits flat and sensible on a wrist in the 6 to 6.75 inch range. The lugs don't overhang. The Oyster bracelet tapers cleanly, so the whole thing tracks the wrist instead of sliding around on it.
The two-tone does the visual work. Steel keeps it grounded for daytime; the rose gold on the bezel, center links, and crown throws just enough warmth to carry a jacket. Black concentric Arabic dial reads clean under a cuff and keeps the face from looking busy on a smaller diameter.
